Order Printer Pro is an app merchants install on their SHOPLINE store to produce invoices, packing slips and other order documents. This policy describes the data the app handles on a merchant’s behalf.

For the data described here the merchant who installs the app is the controller, and we act as their processor: the data comes from their store and is used only to produce the documents they ask for.

What the app stores

Store details Store name and domain, address, contact email and phone, tax and company registration numbers, and the access token that lets the app read your orders.
Orders Order number and dates, line items, quantities and prices, totals, taxes, discounts and shipping, payment and fulfilment status.
Customer details on an order Name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, VAT number where given, and the order note. These are stored because they are printed on the documents.
Documents The generated PDF files, along with their document numbers and a record of when each was created, viewed or emailed.
Templates and settings Your templates and their revision history, plus the app’s own settings for your store.

What the app does not do

How long data is kept

Generated PDF files are deleted on the schedule set under Settings, which defaults to 90 days. The document record itself is kept after the file is removed, because invoice numbers have to remain traceable.

Order and store data is kept for as long as the app is installed. When a store uninstalls, the platform sends a data-erasure request roughly 48 hours later, and the app deletes that store’s orders, documents and stored files.

Document links

If you turn on automated PDFs, each document gets a link containing a long random token, so a customer can open their own invoice without signing in. Anyone holding a link can open that document, so treat it as you would any other private link. Links can be given an expiry date under Settings, and are removed when the document’s file is deleted.

Erasure requests

The app implements the platform’s data-erasure webhooks. A customer-erasure request clears that customer’s name, contact details, addresses and order note from the affected orders and deletes the documents produced from them, while leaving the order’s totals for the merchant’s own accounting. A store-erasure request removes the store and everything held for it.

Sub-processors

The app runs on our hosting provider’s servers and reads store data from SHOPLINE. It does not send store or customer data to any other third party.
